IN A NUTSHELL

This vibrating dumbbell is designed for use with a vibrating plate for challenging workouts. This device trains the muscles of the upper body while using the vibrating plate. The system is positioned as a premium training concept for professional athletes at club gyms (FC Bayern Munich).

ACTIVITIES

Complete design cycle from concepting to engineering and production of a vibrating dumbbell, including:

- early proof-of-principle using simple mock-ups and hands-on testing

- development of tactile switch integrated in the handgrip

- co-design of electrical components

- modular design for easy and affordable assembly in Europe

RESULT

A premium training concept sold worldwide consisting of a vibrating dumbbell and vibrating plate.
